About Help for Heroes

Help for Heroes (H4H) was founded by Bryn and Emma Parry after a profoundly moving visit to Selly Oak Hospital in the summer of 2007.

Help for Heroes was the idea of appeal chairman Bryn Parry and a group of friends and relations. They wanted to help wounded soldiers returning home from combat and came up with several fundraising ideas which led to Help for Heroes being born.

Help for Heroes is all about 'doing your bit' and we cannot think of a better or more British place to do your bit than doing it on the golf course! The National Golf Club Challenge is a wonderful initiative that will allow the golfers of the UK to unite on one weekend and show their unreserved support for our injured troops and in doing so create golfing history here in the UK by making the challenge the largest charity golf event ever to take place on these shores.

We encourage you to take part and wish your Golf Club the best of luck in the quest to be crowned The National Golf Club Challenge Champions 2010 - winning the stunning Lee Westwood Cup.
